The way Shakib currently mentoring the youngsters in the team, he is naturally positioned to take over the team after Mash, besides being vice captain of the LOI sides.

Given we will continue with at least three pacers going forward, Mash will be obviously replaced by one of the bench pacers.

Miraz will have to pick up his batting to take up the #8 slot.

I am assuming selectors are also considering Abul or Saifudding for the slot. However, neither has impressed much so far.
