No problem! Don't mind win or defeat at this stage. It's very good to see that BD girls are playing cricket. With time, they will certainly improve.

With almost no infrastructure in BD for women`s cricket, hopes are certainly not high, but good that the cricket board finally took the initiative.
I have seen only few players who take it seriously - at the women sprots complex in dhaka. After the board announce the team - they can play against major NCL teams for practice.

that's ok. personally, i expect them to get thrashed like hell this time round; however, with the limited facilities provided to our women, it is more than spectacular that we are participating. all these days i used to watch and read about women's cricket and wonder when our ladies would chip in with a display of their skills.

Unfortunately BD could not find quality players to form a team .We have a long way to go before participating in any of the tournament.

Yes, I agree. Let alone the infrastructure, we have to change our social/cultural mindset and create a comfortable environment for our girls to play. How many families in Bangladesh will allow their girls to play cricket? Any idea?

well the first thing to do is find some players who are willing to play and have good knowledge of the game... and then maybe we can coach them or something... but I don't see more than 30-40 players to be found to form the national team...

I know couple of Players reported to the coach and were very eager to play but facilities and securities conditions were also not up to the mark in the Dhanmondi Women Complex and that was also unfortunate.
You called a team and did not even give them proper security or structur? Are we taking this as a fun ?

don't worry even if we have quility players.. The mullas will stop them at any cost..they already have succefully stopped the football turna ...so such intiative is not possibe in present day talibanized Bangladesh.

Thats right, our mullas need to change their styles a little bit. They've got to give equal opportunity for both man and women.
