Default An insight into history: Lots of things are now not open

I have been reading the Kriralok magazine of 1998 as I was getting bored thinking about the continuous failures of our current national team and the things that I have found are quite amazing to me.

For example, things were a lot open in those days, reporters (well especially Nasimul Hossain Dodul, Saifur Rahman Khokon, Mahbubul Hasan Niru - who are now involvoed in TV news sports reporting on the 3 private tv channels) could know (or allowed to know) if there was a conflict between some players, if there were any over-confidence in captains, players - these things.

But now, I believe because of 'code of conduct', we cannot know what is the inside story of our current national team.

Its a hell of a read and I have been enjoying reading the sad stories of our past knowing what came in the future (in 1999).

I always enjoyed Niru's and Dodul's articles. Does Kriralok have any website by any chance? I miss reading Kriralok.

No, they don't have any.

But then again, you would not enjoy reading the recent kriraloks now, even we discuss more important matters now a days than the current Kriralok issues.

Hey FW, I think the code of conduct is a good thing. These are professionals, and the days of ajaira addabaji with the reporters should be gone. Not having any real news, the reporters speculate and try to create some news.
