I need to learn Hindi, because in order to work in French foreign office, I need to success in a exam where they ask for 2 languages.
For Asia, first language is English and for the 2nd language you have the choice betweenHindi,Janapense and Chinese.
I have planed to do an internship this summer in French embassy at New Delhi, then to spend 6 months or one year(if needed) in India to become fluent in english and hindi.
My ultimate goal is to work in Dhaka ;-)

Good luck with that! You should take encouragement from the example of Anwar Chowdhury, who is a naturalised British citizen but was made the UK's High Commissioner to Bangladesh in 2004.
