Thumbs down BCB wants to replace Rabeed as Media Manager

http://www.amadershomoy.com/news.php?id=156651&sys=1

I am not happy to read this news.

Funny that they are upset coz Rabeed sent some news to english media, as if printing BD strategy in a Bengali paper is completely safe, no opponent can find out.

If RI has broken any code of conduct, I don't have any problem seeing him being replaced, but BCB needs to go through proper procedure to prove that first before leaking this kind of rumor to the media.

I don't trust "Amader Somoy" reports, its more than a tabloid.

We should wait until the news appears in more reliable dailies.

BTW, did not Athahar Ali disclose the team in his column in Shamokal before the England match ? How was that not breaking code of conduct ?

Rabeed Iman has been doing such a great job. Why replace him? If the news is true, BCB is going nuts.

This is a blazing example of why competent people don't stick around in Bangladesh if they have any opportunity abroad.

BCB needs to wake up and smell their own tails.

I dont think fans are in a position to evaluate the media managers role. BCB knows best about how and to what extent the media manager is performing his duties or has infringed on any terms and conditions. If what they allege is true, about the media manager providing classified information to newspapers then obviously BCB has the right to take any action. However they need to prove it before they fire him. Getting rid of him without a valid reason would be pathetic just like keeping him even after he infringes his contractual terms and conditions.

Once again, can't read the contents of the news on my browser!

Anyway, just like Miraz bhai, I would wait for more reliable sources. Anyone else reported this news?

Try using Internet Explorer. Firefox doesn't display bangla font well.

If Rabeed Imam is removed as media manager, then may be some media savy individual from BC can take over the helm... I think an obvious choice is our star member Miraz, who already has a strong media presence

It seemed while reading cricinfo articles he possesses a very good knowledge of cricketing terms and in most cases his analysis are far more realistic rather than many other writers such as S Rajesh.

first of all I am apalled that some respected BC memberrs are taking a trash report fromn a trash newspaper so seriously. Come on people wake up. What classified information are we talking about? what newspaper published them? more importantly how did this goldmine of a leak allegedly by RI go unnotieced by BC where nothing goes unnoticed not even the shitty Amader shomoy. I think it is jusvague vague vague unsubstantiated junk unless someone is actually trying to frame RI. The guy has portrayed Bangladesh and the players positively always and from what I hear from tehsin bhai and masum bhai he is a true professional in his dealings. I will stand by RI cause I respect the man until proven wrong.
