The best bowler of all time. 800 test wickets. wow!! We would make a bowler a legend (in the 70s and 80s) if he could get 300 wickets. Currently only one active bowler over 300 wickets. That shows how big his achievement is. Also shows how the game has changed to a batsman's game. Retiring when on the top. 8 wickets in the last match.

Congrats Murali.

This guy's play's been effortless, a machine. Will miss his action as much as anything, that twirling arm and wrist.

what a way to say Goodbye !!! true legend...

for some reason, i had a feeling he might not bag 8 wickets given all the rain & how formidable Indian batting line up can get.... and finish with an 'almost' perfect record like Don Bradman perhaps...

but Murali just made the whole subcontinent proud..... the true winner the true legend....
now come coach Bangladesh....
