Info
England's T20 World Cup campaign starts on 16 March when they take on West Indies in a Group 1 encounter at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The team lead by Eoin Morgan come into this tournament as a surprise package with many impressed by their new aggressive approach towards the shorter formats of the game.
England won both their warm-up games, which would have given them the confidence to tackle spin friendly surfaces.
They will have to make sure that they don't get carried away by their approach.
In Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root and skipper Morgan they have batsmen capable of winning games on their day while the bowling lead by Reece Topley is looking good.
It will be interesting to see how all-rounder Moeen Ali fits into the side as his batting at number eight or nine is nonsensical as they are wasting his talents.
The Three Lions are expected to go in with a full-strength side.
A side which should be favourites coming into any tournament, the West Indies unfortunately have a tendency to self-destruct, with infighting and payment disputes clouding their participation in this edition of the T20 World Cup.
Skipper Darren Sammy will hope to relive their 2012 triumph and in Marlon Samuels, Chris Gayle and Andre Russell he has players who are experienced T20 campaigners. However, the absence of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine and Lendl Simmons due to various reasons is a big blow for the side.
West Indies go into this clash as the underdogs. However, they are expected to field their best XI with no injury worries at the moment.
