Should Reza replace a player from current squad if so who?
Bangladesh's current 11 just had a convincing victory against world's number 1 South Africa. On the contrary, the same 11 suffered a nine wicket defeat against the mighty New Zealands. So that leads me to wonder, do we stick with this same 11 for the England game or are there changes that can be made.
The current squad is:
Tamim Iqbal
Javed Omar
Habibul Bashar
Saqibul Hassan
Aftab Ahmad
Mohammad Ashraful
Mushfiqur Rahm
Mashrafi Mortaza
Mohammad Rafique
Abdur Razzaq
Syed Rasel
The only realistic replacement player we have is Farhad Reza So do you think he should replace a member from this squad or do you think we should go with what we have at the moment. Based on other threads people consistently ridicule Bashar and Javed Omar but they forget they have done us a world of good. Therefore, in this thread please state a player who you feel should be replaced aside from Javed Omar and Habibul Bashar as the board will not replace these 2 players.

None. We have found our best combination and we should keep it for the next three matches.

No need to change.
If we want to make any change, I can only see the promotion of Bashar to opening slot and including Farhad in place of Javed.

I would prefer the same winning combinition.
Aftab and Tamim should Open and Bashar number 3. Forhad can be included in middle then. Drop JO.

Reza should replace Hablu.
SN should replace JO.

that would complete our dream team, but most likely none of these will take place...

the whole point of this thread is to talk say something in reason, as good as your team sounds it is very unlikely to happen. So from here on out on this thread lets make suggestions that do not include dropping our CAPTAIN or our (some what inform) opener.

Why not we promote Mushfiq to opening with Bashar still at 3 and Farhad coming at 7 and with the rest of the positions staying the same.

that is a great option. this way reza can play, who is a hard hitter ,can hit over the top in 15 overs. he will be useful at number 7.
i also think, if reza has some opening experience in domesctic, he should OPEN with tamim. then the pressure will not be on Tamim to keep the strike rate up (which is down because of Javed omar batting). srilanka of 1999 WC had both hardhitter jayasuria and kaluvitharana on opening. Austrlia currently has Hayden and Gilcrist. Opening is one place we could enjoy some good strike rate. also, as previously seen, Reza and tamim both has the capability to cool their game if necessary.

I would be against any changes. But if I were to suggest a change, I would promote mushfiq as an opener and drop Javed.

im going bak to my point... droping javed omar and habibul bashar is not realistic. And i think there are many threads already discussing this and we all know that it would not happen. So getting back to not dropping either Javed Omar or Habibul Bashar who else do you think Reza can replace or are there no realistic replacements.

reja shouldnt replace anyone. he is not good enough to be an international bowler. his nothing medium pace will be cannon fodder for england or WI batsmen. and I dont think Reja should replace anybody in the team by his batting alone.
Sorry why do we buy the idea that an allrounder is someone who can neither bowl nor bat?

Replace JO with SN, if he's ready to perform.
I'd love to replace Bashar with Forhad against England, but after beating SA that's probably not going to happen.

Replace JO with Farhad or SN... if farhad is selected, Mushy should open. I guess it depends on the pitch condition of barbados also.

Replace JO and Habibul (if possible...I will be happy)...Nafees will replace JO as a opener with Tamim...Farhad will bat at No. 3 instead of Habibul.
Habibul is 100% out of form...his body language, fielding, running betw the wicket...everything is below average...last match he batted in the very important position (no. 3) and struggeled a lot....if we can replace Habibul with a Good-Formed Batsman...I think we will go to the semis.

the weakest spot in the BD team (in terms of batting strength) is Habibul Bashar (the opener issue will be resolved once SN gets back his confidence), but no ones replacing HB right now and Mushfiq wont open the innings (80% probability of him choking as opener) so tough luck Forhad. JO ke jotoi bashing kori, one thing is true he'll hold his wicket and stabilise the innings for the first 15-20 overs...

With JO's performance, and a win against SA, it looks like his spot is pretty much set for now. The management should re-think this. They should do a thorough analysis as to whether SN/Rajin will be better than JO against England.
Since I haven't watched England play today (rather, in a very long time), I can't make a call here.
About Reza, not sure who he could replace. England may not be so weak against spinners, given that they have good spinners in the team.

Bring up Bashar as an opener..drop Javed Omar..and take in Reza..
Reza's a good fielder..decent batsman..atleast if he scores 10..he wont eat up 40 balls.. and he can bowl 1 or 2 overs in tight situation if england's under pressure.

I was thinking the same ever since I heard the news Forhad is flying over to WI. This would give some pace bowling option.
