Default Quran Recitation Thread

Share beautiful Quran recitations on this thread!

I will share the first one here. Shaykh Hisham Al-Harraz is a reciter from Algeria - discovered him recently. A very talented reciter with a beautiful voice.

Of course being from Algeria, he recites in warsh:

Another qari with beautiful recitation - Shaykh Hassan Saleh:

He is an Egyptian reciter who memorized the Quran in two different qira'aat.

Shaykh Yahya Arkani

Recently several reciters from Arkani clan appeared over Saudi Arabia. MashaAllah all of them are great reciters. They are from Rohingya/Burmese lineage.

Also late imam of Prophet's mosque Shaykh Mohammad Ayyub's father was a Rohingya. In the kingdom where leadership at the grand mosques are strictly reserved for the locals, Shaykh Ayyub was an exception. It proves that nothing can override the will of Allah.

As soon I heard Yahya Arkani, I fell in love with his soothing recitation.

While passing by an audio store in Makkah the recitation of a qari captivated me. I asked the store keeper about the qari. He told me that it was Khaled Al-Jaleel. He is another melodious reciter of the Quran. He is based in Riyadh.

Default Qira'at explained

American Qari Wisam explains qira'at quite well using one of the most widely known surahs, surah Ikhlas (Qul huwallah):
