I think it's time BPL starts attracting more household names rather than County Cricket/South African/Pakistani Domestic Backup people/Old out of form once a superstar type players...Money an Issue maybe? BPL does host some household international names but not enough...

^^Money is definitely an issue. BCB pockets whatever profits come out of the league, leaving team owners to bear all costs.

BCB needs to land better deals. Channel 9 and co. are pathetic.

Also ticket sales don't help the tourney much because they are cheap as fans need to be attracted in the same stadium over and over again.

The reality is that we need to manage the farce that is channel 9. Look for a better company. Also it's vital that instead of having 9-10 foreign players per side, teams should pick only 7 with option for replacement if player gets injured.

The real issue ofcourse is the lack of big bucks. Brendon McCullum, Kevin Pietersen, these are players you would have loved to see in the BPL.

Reasons:
1) money
2) too much workload for players. No breathing space
3) players won't be able to take time off from practice to enjoy anything.

BCB could also try using Sylhet and Khulna stadium. Double the ticket price.

Local players not bad either. Hom MHR, Mazid, Riad, Shafiul.

But yes they could have spent more money on a big import than all these faltu advertisement using celebrities

they are far from weak. Riyad-Shafi-Mosha-Kapali-Hom-Naeem Jnr..... these are all great domestic performers. Watchout for Hasanuzzaman and Majid as well. Their foreign is a bit weak with Laughlin and Simmons pulling out but Cooper-Pooran-Fletcher all performed well in CPL and Howell is probably one of the best buys in the tournament. Bowling attack will be, Shafi-Cooper-Howell-Mosha-Riyad-Naeem jnr. Batting, well enough depth there as well.

They can't buy good players, they can't even hire proper designers

Why weren't they called Tigers isntead! Khulna Tigers or Khulna Mangrove! As the sundarban in Khulna Division, they should called themselves Bengal Tigers!
Yes there was Khulna Royal Bengals before but it is two different names, if they had Khulna Bengal Tigers, won't contradict!
