Australian cricketers do not make news. They merely win. Which gets them a few ho-hum paragraphs and the odd appreciation of their skills. Their cricket is cold and brutal, like getting mugged in daylight by a gang of toughs. Their skills are polished and they always look irritated. What sort of team is this?

It's a joke to say the Aussies don't enjoy Cricket, many of their players live, breath and sleep the game. And despite their endless string of victories they are never complacent (aside from perhaps the 2005 English tour). Many other teams, India, Pakistan, West Indies and England all spring to mind, could learn a massive amount from the Aussies enjoyment of the game.
I would love to see another country beat Australia in any tournament, but as players and people, I really find it hard to fault them.

If people are occasionally bored by the Australians, the Australians are certainly never bored by winning. This is harder than it looks, especially when no outside force (i.e. compet<147,2,1>itive opposing team) pushes you. There is a monkish element to the Australians, something pure and rigorous and almost sacred to their search to ascend to some higher cricketing plane.

Should not be a problem for Bashar. My question is are you allowed to wear extra gear like a squash ball. Where does ICC stand on this affair? If Mohammad Yusuf was doing this I doubt Ponting could resist himself commenting on it...result: Another career dismissal for a great cricketer.
