Default Why aint Athar Ali doing commentary for BD team?
I wonder why Athar went to Bangladesh instead of doing commentry for the Bangladesh matches. Is it that the ICC has already fixed commentators for ever game i mean is that Athar was just meant gor group stage matches.

Recently seen Athar in some Bangla Channel cricket talk show. Guess, it was Boishaki

yea probably the contract was only for the group stage. ICC obviously didnt was Athar for the ind/pak super 8 games.

I think the only reason for Athar's absence is that ESPN -STAR thought that BD won't make it past the group stages and so there is not need to carry around a BD commentator
