ধানমন্ডি ৪ নম্বর মাঠে ক্রিকেটারদের মিলনমেলা আজ সন্ধ্যায়। এর আয়োজক ক্রিকেটারদেরই সংগঠন কোয়াব। ক্রিকেটে বিশেষ কীর্তির জন্য ক্রিকেটার-কর্মকর্তাদের সংবর্ধনা দেবে তারা।

টেস্ট-ওয়ানডে দুটোতেই বিশ্বের সেরা অলরাউন্ডার হিসেবে সংবর্ধনা পাবেন সাকিব আল হাসান। উইজডেনের বর্ষসেরা হওয়ায় সংবর্ধনা পাবেন তামিম ইকবালও। জাতীয় দলের অধিনায়ক হওয়ায় মুশফিকুর রহিম এবং সর্বকনিষ্ঠ টেস্ট সেঞ্চুরিয়ান হিসেবে সংবর্ধনা পাবেন মোহাম্মদ আশরাফুল। আইসিসির নিয়োগ পাওয়া প্রথম বাংলাদেশি টেস্ট আম্পায়ার হিসেবে এনামুল হকও হবেন সংবর্ধিত।

I think, that's perfectly ok. One might call it oiling, but you must remember that CWAB is basically a lobbying entity, on behalf of the players. So, they must maintain good relation with the board, to do their job more effectively. Cricketers welfare is mostly In the hands of BCB. And the recognition is very much related to cricket in BD.... So I support their initiative.

There is nothing wrong to have a soft-corner for Ashraful. Personally, I'm very proud of Ashraful, Shakib, Tamim, Shahadat, Syed Rasel, Shafiul, Mahmudullah, Imrul, Mohammad Rafiq, Bulbul, khaled mashud's (all bangladeshi players')accomplishments. I love them all... I criticize them when they perform poorly and hurt me...and I give credit where it's due!
