First ODI was close, Afghanistan won by 1 run.

Afghanistan 289/6 (50 ov)
Canada 288/8 (50.0 ov)

Its a shame these teams don't get more games with Test nations. I really wish there would be a long qualification route to the world cup involving the Test countries as well so the associates got a good number of games for experience and the Test nations wouldn't get a free-bee. There should be enough home and away matches with each team so that the top teams can't cry 'luck' for losing a one off match.

WTF went wrong there? Holy smokes...we just got slapped on the face! 100something declared...and this kid chases it down??? Ouchhh!

Tremendous performance. I'm glad that they are coming up as a cricketing nation. Congrats brothas!

canada captain declared on 191-4 thinking 494 is a good enough target to be chased.

well who knew afghans will chase this in 107 overs. no body would ever believed that this was possible

just thinking what the canada captain is thinking. thinking that should he declare on 550 lead or 600 ????
