Could have played a better supporting role, Bangladesh would definitely have reached the semis. Tamim is a mediocre player while Soumya is becoming jhore bok type player

Top order and the bowler/captain who is averaging around 350 after 50 overs and 8 matches, almost 4 times shakibs world cup batting average. 3 passengers in the team.

Sans Shakib, this team was way poorer than WC'15 team. Having a non-performing captain really hurt us this time.

in 2015 we didnt have setled batting unit BUT our fielding and bowling was really good. I dont remember too many misfields and our pace bowling was pretty damn good. Many i dont see how our pace bowling and fielding became sooooo baad.

Only the third batsman to score 600+ in a single WC, after Tendulkar and Hayden - that pretty much sums it up what an incredible tournament Shakib had.

Honestly, I really feel bad for Shakib and I know people around the world also might have felt similar emotions. I am glad that Mash said sorry to shakib. Thats also very powerful. He was really the one man army in this tournament. I hope the fans remember this man’s performance in the future as well. I truly believe much of our progress in world cricket is due to shakib since he came to this team.
