Causing unnecessary drama everywhere we go is perhaps the most Bengali trait ever.

Tamim should be booted off the team just for this fiasco and wasting PM valuable time. I have no hope on him as WC captain anymore.

Now I understand why Bangladesh has never been able to win anything.

It was a depleted Afghanistan side too to add insult to injury

I think Shakib was considered to captain BD in World Cup.

At any rate, I love Tamim but in my opinion these are the best batsmen now:

1. Mushfiqur - natural, class, master, still got the touch and his shot selection got so much better that sometimes he reminds me of BD's ABD... if I must. Rare his scoop doesn't come off but I love his playing style and approach

2. Litton Das- Probably the best batsman now

3. Shanto -consistent performer

Tamim, Riyad, these guys are completely outdated players. Look at the way Gurbaz is playing.

To be fair to BCB, it's not like they are not giving youngsters a try. Likes of Yasir, Naim, and co were drafted into the team to replace those senior players. These idiots are doing worst than our outdated seniors so who is your choice to replace these seniors? No one - hence we will be stuck with them and these 4 guys will be the reason if we win a match here and there - maybe some youngsters will contribute but it's always these 4 guys who contributed in some way or not for our wins.

After 2 days of drama, some of the national dailies have gone quiet on the subject.

Seems like Tamim was not the only influenced by the "Madam" .

All these shenanigans and drama is why we will always be the laughing stock of cricketing world. Watch Afghanistan leap frog us and make Semi Finals first.

It's clear Tamim and Hathu don't want to work with each other and the board is backing the coach. Now they are just forced to put up with each other I guess. Must be great for the team /sarcasm
