Default Cricinfo

Wisdom's partnership with Cricinfo has resulted in some below par and below the belt articles from the good people over there. Unfortunately, they have nothing useful to contribute so we can easily discard the poj's. (j=junk)

Nobody expects BD to even put up a decent fight against the Aussies - it could have been presented in a professional manner.

Anyways - the team looks interesting. I've read that Dav is reluctant to list any of the players as core players (rightly so) and even mentioned that he only had to keep shujon as core because he is the captain. Well, it's a start. If we are good to him, he will be good to us and maybe give us a decent team in 4/5 years time. As long as we keep a all-win record against non-test sides, I'll be happy for the next 4 years (including the World Cup). Porer kotha porey.

Well, this is just "Wisden" within the cricinfo speaking. Unfortunately they are the ones that always do the blah blah blah....

The article is just lame to say the least. They even spelled Hasibul Hossain's name wrong (who is Habibul Hossain?)! Just shows how unprofessional they are.

They have also stopped news articles from Dailystar. Back in 1997 (when cricinfo wasn't a corporate mamoth) I used to send many emails on how to make their BD page better. One of the suggestions was to get news items from Dailystar site. They emailed dailystar within a matter of days for copyright waiver (which Dailystar was more than happy to do) and we got lots of news from BD. Now I don't see dailystar news anymore! What a shame.

What we should do is flood them with complaint email.

Cricinfo main page now reads:

"Bangladesh select squad for daunting Australian tour"

Atleast they changed the title. The article is still same though
