I am generally correct in my talent assessment. I liked Shafiul when I saw him in his first ODI spell; he was being dispatched all over the field. I also have high hope for Jahurul. He should be a great WK-batsman in the next few years, I believe. However, I was mistaken about Imrul Kayes. He appeared to have escaped being dismissed only through sheer luck and scored his runs from nicks and scratches. Boy, did I fail to see the determination behind those nicks and scratches! If he continues to improve, he might be the first BD batsman with an ODI average of over 40. The other one is, yes you guessed it, Jahurul.

Tamim's WC SR is 74.84 so far. This WC and last WC.
And so far Imrul's WC SR is 74.49.
In this WC, Imrul's SR is not an issue so far. Yes he was slow before. but in this WC that was not an issue so far.

Good to see Imrul improving... he has definitely improved his ability to accelerate his innings after he is set. I would like to like to see Big Z provide some solidity in the top order.

I was on the same boat. If there's one batsman in our team that progressed because of his hard work and determination, it's him. I think his SR is totally fine given that we have Tamim. For a team like Bangladesh, expecting any better would be too much.

I have doubt on Jahurul, how come he does not score much in local games? Mahmudullah, Rokibul, Mushi, Nafees even Nayeem scores runs, but how come we dont hear his name? Either he has some problem or fans here has high expectation without much ground I fear.

Good thing is Imrul is improving and getting more and more confident, his slow strike rate doesnt bother me at all atm.
