And where did I say late night party can have no effect on a player who has a match the next day (or same day)?

BCB never defend anyone without any personal gain.

They put various kebabs - shami, shish, garouti, kalmi, tikka - all in one plate and then chug em down with water sometimes resulting in rapturous overdose requiring cops to come.

Staying out till 2 in the morning when you have one of the most important games of your life in few hours time goes to show how responsible some of these players are and how much they value the passion of the people who made them so adorably famous.

No wonder the fielding against the Saffers on that infamous 78 match was so bad. Some of these players looked tired and not willing to run after the ball, now we know why.

This is really sad.
Offcourse they should have life beside cricket, but that life should not consist of going out on will the night before a crucial game in a world cup against one of the toughest teams out there.

I blame Mashrafe for this. He distracted the players and therefore, they needed some motivation through kebab and lalpani. loitta and siddons tried their best in ensuring that.
