What are the benefits of planting trees? have you taken part in any kind of tree planation campaign in BD or anywhere in the world?

I was reading online, how in Bangladesh many people die each year because of lighting, and the government undertook a tree plantation campaign.

Experts say the high death toll stems in part from a lack of trees whose branches can absorb the impact of lightning. While the trees are damaged, it means the electric charge does not course through the earth.

Would be nice to hear from you all, if you have undertaken similar campaign in your local areas in Bangladesh or anywhere in the world.

Put some fruit trees like KathBell, beth fall, Lotkon, Lichu, Taal Gash, Jaam, etc. Now a days its hard to get these fruits, much be very few left in Bangladesh.


and yes... don't forget jolpai and tetul.


In the grown level you can do some phuler gach and some saak shobji.
