Default horse milk

It is low in fat content and tastes very similar to cow's milk. Rather a delicacy in russia too. Yummy. You should try some!

I had the pleasure of tasting it last week while in London!

Dear Fazal,

This is not a serious thread as you might have guessed! I had a very long day at the library and decided to post something lighthearted for a change. So there needn't be serious answers unless you really want to be serious about it!

I have never tried donkey milk. Camel milk is very nice.

But I don't like horse's milk .....nor do I like raw egg. Further more you didn't mentioned what kind of egg it is? Chicken, some kind of bird, crocodile or snake's egg?

Where should I vote then?

I should have thought of that before making the remark. Since I had not specified it you might as well exercise your democratic right to see it as an egg of whichever creature you prefer!

I think you have given me an idea for supper. Omlette it is!

I don't have a supply of horse milk or camel milk for that matter, in my fridge! I made a mushroom omlette for supper.

Thank you again for your suggestion from the other thread. It just happens that I have been a little too busy to go into a music shop. I shall try to get it sometime next week.

I'd love some Tiger milk. In fact, that should be the mandatory item for our cricket team's breakfast menu!

The problem is, how does one get close to a tigress to acquire the milk!

I saw in 'Ittadi' about horse milk and that was the first time I came to know about it that people drink it. Since horse meat is not 'Halal', is horse milk 'halal'? If so, I'd like to try it out.

BTW, horse has one of the strongest kick among domestic animals. Who was the first to dare milking it?

Horse is makruh in Islam, hence, we can deduce its milk is also makruh, meaning, I wont bother paying an extra douse of money for summat that is makruh and tastes like cows milk when I can get the similar for cheaper, more conveniently and more islamically.

I read somewhere majority of humans are lactose intolerant (at least 90% of Asians are).

Someone shed an islamic light on this: is it true that we can only consume on the meat of an animal with hooves?

no. That term isn't to be taken literally to a mass extent. Horse is higly discouraged. very aversive in islam
