I am just hoping Ash will not be the next captain. No problem with Mushy, he is the best choice.
Tamim is too immature to be the vice captain (I think Shakib was fine), which was some way related to his business-class ticket saga while he was visiting Australia for treatment (only captain and vice captain can get business class ticket from BCB)

If ash becomes captain it will be the end of our cricket... I seriously hope that won't be the case... i guess potential candidates are Khocha Nafees and Mushfiqur

I hope he becomes the captain. So we can catch up with Nadim's post count.

knew it was coming, they clearly went out of control, as per the events reported in different news media during the Zim series & prior to that. No team would have tolerated those.
Worried about the next guy... don't see any one competent ... it could have been a final warning for Shakib and Tamim's one is ok I guess. Vice captain doesn't matter much if the captain is ok. BCB should handle the situation with extreme care... can't afford to lose/demotivate either of them as a player of the team.

My friend, you are talking against the 'interest & Norms of the game', 'the highest body of the game-ICC' and 'all the boards' ... let alone BCB. Behaviour and discipline matters a lot for the game and player's own career as well.
Shakib was such a gentle guy until he became captain and so indisciplined/arrogant after becoming captain... that shows in the steady decline of his performances as a captain. I may not agree completely with BCB decisions, but I'm sure BCB needed to do something to stop those nonsense they were doing. I'm sure, it's not a one man decision.
Punishments are aimed at rectification. Just hope that Shakib realizes his mistakes and gets disciplined. But if he doesnt, none is indispensible ... see, BC is running without BD shardul and it wil run without anyone of us... Team and game is too much bigger than an individual to accept such indiscipline/arrogance/disrespect.

It seems that Mushi will be given the captaincy role but I don't see any other player who has his place cemented in the team. Shakib has been the top performer and hope he will perform even better since there won't be any extra pressure. But for Tamim, I don't think he was a captain material

Nope ...IMO
I'm dam'n sure that it will be SN. BCB will not give it to a junior guy bypassing seniors, because that was one of the biggest issue; Grouping against senior players & within the team. And Ash didnt do well as captain and captaincy will ruin him, if anything is still left. So, no Ash isn't going to be captain for sure..

let's standup and applause the BCB, instead of taking a step forward, they are taking a couple of step backwards. hope they know what they're upto atleast.

Suppose there was a grouping in the team, now who ever the new cap will be, was once somehow victim of the grouping (for example- Ash, SN). Do you think they wont take revenge against Shak/Tamy? Can you imagine the consequences?
I wish BCB will make someone from the middle.

Finally we have successfully established that we dont even want a player to be captain who gets selected in the final 11 without any doubt. In our short journey of test cricket, Shakib was the only player who was an automatic choice in any format. By far he is also the only player whose performance was not degraded with the burden of captaincy. He has not only performed well for the contry but also proved himself abroad where he made himself worthy to be picked in the first 11 for KKR and get a second season call from county. Even mash could not prove his worth with KKR (and better not to mention Ash and razzak). I know he has attitude problem, he cannot mix with everyone or have good relation with seniors specially selectors. But are we in a position to afford the luxury to select a captain with off field attitude? If we had 4-5 guys with shakib like on field performance, then i wound not mind, but now, i am afraid we are going back to old era where the captain will be selected in the final 11 not for performance but to officially lead the team.

Aarrrrgh enough already!!! Just because you're an automatic selection for your cricketing skills doesn't necessarily mean you're an automatic skipper!! Grow a brain you guys!!
In fact, if you are causing persistent disharmony in your team, I would seriously question what your criterion of 'automatic' selection really means!
