i think something wrong with national players. it cant be that bad. may be they need match practice or mental support. all the new guys are performing like nasir, elias sunny, Hom (previous series), now nazimuddin.

or may be they are taking revenge against loitta kamal

That would be a good question to Ian Pont. How do the coaching staff react after a player has been dismissed cheaply and/or to a reckless shot? Especially when the score is low and others have been dismissed cheaply before them?

nazimuddin is showing the importance of playing 4-day matches.no matter how crappy your domestic league is ,you cant just neglect it .even playing in a 4day paramoholla game can help you fixing your lack of concentration .

Nazimuddin forbade his wife to come in ground in the morning. He advised her to come only if Nazim is in a position to play a good innings.Should she come now?

I don't think new guys are performing consistently. I think Nasir is a good prospect, but other are yet to prove themselves. Both Sunny and Hom lacks consistentcy.

BTW, I am happy that Nazimunddin is showing good temperament and he is hungry for success.

There is no replacement for match practice. The only time our national team players play longer version games is when BD plays test. When was the last time Tamim or anyone else in our top order played for their divisional team for 1 entire season?

another frustrating thing is that tamim probably will not get the opportunity to play 4day matches as CTG couldnt make it to the 2nd round of ncl

We need at least 2 replacement players for every position because only in that way can we prevent our cricketers for taking themselves for granted, becoming drama queen and getting fat. I am tired of hearing the current 15 is the best talent we got. Clearly if this is the best we got then we should play cricket in Associate Level. We have to give the top scorers of FC leagues a chance (except the proven failures like Ash, Tushar Imran) and build a reserve bench of capable players who will be ready to replace anyone out of form in the national team.

going out of form is part of cricket... even the legends go through that... but in no other team the ENTIRE top order goes out of form at the same time!

I hope Nasir and Nazimuddin can save us from another humiliation
