true, we urgently need to keep up the pressure. 10 overs have passed now. No more wickets. We need some more wickets while we still have the new ball.

can we do it...
we need 218 runs to win...if our batting performance is better than that against nz, we might have a slight chance...

Forget it, Kenya won. BD batsman will crumble. Batting with NZ was once in blue moon thing. That won't happen here (hint*** canada match). They will crumble under pressure. Look at Kenya batting, almost everyone with double figure!
Our top five batsman all together can't sometimes get into double figure. Anyway, my prediction is we will loose early wickets and as usual get all out for 130/140. Very sad we couldn't restrict Kenya in 150 runs.
KENYA BATTING SUCKS
Only reason they made all these runs was our stupid fielding. If you drop Tikolo twice on consequitive delivery, you are definitely out of the match. Then we drop Odumbe and he gets his 50. Can it get any worse? Yes it can, we will get out around 100 runs.

END OF WC\'03 for BANGLADESH
So we lost by 32 runs to Kenya! The question is: now what. Where do we go from here? There will be scapegoats but will anyone try to solve the bigger problem. We are just not good enough at this level!

This loss was sort of inevitable. We had such a miserable world cup overall that I don't think anyone believed that we would win this game, least of all, the players. Oh well, its all over now. Its time to go back and do some soul searching for everyone, the players, coach, management and BCB in general. Whats happened has happened, I am just going to try and enjoy the rest of the matches in this world cup. Atleast there wont be any more heartbreaks.

If nothing drastic happens in the BCB over the coming days, that WILL be heartbreaking.
The following needs to happen immediately, or else it will be heartbreak over and over again:
1) Mohsin Kamal out
2) Tough-talking by the ICC
3) Development guidelines by the ICC
4) Depoliticization of BCB
5) Firing of Loby, Arafat Rahman and co.
6) Reintroduction of a proper domestic competition
7) Commitment to development of newer grounds
8) Hiring of groundsmen to prepare a variety of pitches
9) New physio
10) Issue of a quarterly Development Report
11) Firm commitment to youth cricket
12) Hiring of specialist bowling, fielding and batting coaches on a long-term basis
13) Restructuring of payscale for our players (penalisation of poor performances, etc)
14) Persuade ICC to change the fixtures schedule

Amen
Amen to that.
15) Arrange A tours (send the national tam for gods sakes) in Australia, South Arfica and sometimes England, Zinbabwe, Sri Lanka so we can win a few.
