Default PWC rating update: Hayden tops Lara, Dravid moves to #3

Having beaten Brian Lara's record Test score, it's fitting that Matthew Hayden has also reclaimed top place in the PwC Ratings from the West Indies player. Hayden's lead is narrow, and he will need a decent score in the second Test to preserve his top position.

2 -1 Brian Lara WI 887 51.56 908 vs Australia, St John's 1999

3 +4 Rahul Dravid IND 849 55.22 875 vs New Zealand, Hamilton 1999

Actually this is important news. For India it is especially pertinent as the form of Dravid would tip the balance of the series "definetely" in their favour. India really needed Dravid to come forth at this juncture.
