What Motivates You?
What brings out the best in you? What motivates you?
give examples, make it interesting.
1. I figured that I am quite a peace loving guy. However if someone throws competition at me, i usually crush him before he can think of it again.. Competition motivates me. Once i was sledged at in a cricket match, told me i woudn't stay for long.......my concentration on batting increased skyhigh, i was timing the balls, even the good ones, and i had a good knock and specially was fearless against that bowler who sledged.
2. Helping others - I do get very motivated to do someone in need. Have always been in touch with charity works. At my job in US, after graduation, I used get motivated everytime i was asked to help a new analyst. And I would never get impatient with him/her.
3. Job satisfaction: I actually put it over Money as a motivating factor. Yes, during part time work in college, i worked where i liked to work, because of the environment, my space and good people to work with. I didnt go anywhere where i would make an extra buck.

failure..i know it sounds weird but that's a fact..in my first semester at uni i was careless and too cool to study..my result was so poor that i didn't even tell my parents..the very next semester i worked hard & it improved dramatically..3rd sem result isn't out yet but i'm confident the avg GPA is gonna be respectable if not excellent from now on..

First, I set my target. Second, I find out the guy who is the best in this field. Third, I try to find out some similarity with him & I think if he can do it I will try to be better than him. This is how I motivate myself.

I listen to Qur'an recitation. It gives me some sort of power in my chest. And I feel strong and that is how I motivate myself.

Freedom... Of doing things in my way
Acts/supports that can change lives of poor and helpless families
Respect for my rights
Honest/sincere co workers (incl employees)
Money definitely is a great motivator ...
And absence of things that pisses me off...

Inspiration: marginalized Bangladeshis who manage to make incredible sacrifices for their families, smile and share moments of laughter and bliss every single day. That sort of resilience and strength of character is nothing short of noble if you ask me.
Motivation: sense of moral responsibility, and the challenge of doing the work as well as it can be done.
