Feedback from those wh saw it LIVE
Didn't see the match as it was a saturday night. Could only get to read from Cricinfo and places.
Those who saw the match live, i will like to know their feedback on the following:
1. Sachin's batting - Hits, Misses, Luck, Shots etc.
2. Mashrafe's bowling - Snicks, Short-pitches, Did he trouble the batsman etc.
3. Pathan's bowling - How exactly was he bowling
4. Zaheer's batting
Also missed opportunities by BD players in batting. bowling and fileding. Please only post your views and not what cricinfo or bbc has to say.
Thanks.

by the time i tuned in most of the damage had been done. the stadium was empty, an apt statement for the feelings on an entire nation. our bowlers, despite all their earlier discipline, had been pounded into submission. it was only a small miracle when ashraful was able to get zaheer stumped in his first over. the bangladesh team seemed so happy to see ash get a wicket, they must have forgetten the greater tragedy of that 500+ score. It's been a while since we have had 500 scored on us, even though you would think every team out there would put up a similar total against us. i didn't see mashrafee bowling but apparently whatever he did is too much for his body as he is going to miss the 2nd test.
as for our innings, it is hard not to repeat the written reports. Those batsmen getting out were always late with the front foot. pathan was able to figure out who would do what, and that none of our batsmen would be able to learn from the first innings.
bashar's dismissal was awful. he keeps saying his dismissals are never irresponsible and that he score runs playing the pull. He doesn't understand that they are setting a trap for him and he needs to chnage his style a bit to adjust to the opposition tactics. He does have a learning disability. everytime he gets out, he can't explain it.
i didn't see our 2 50s as it didn;t really matter.

I am AFRAID about BD team, because of the players attitude. They does not want learn (Learning disability). From the reaction of captain it probes that he/they do want to learn or change their mistakes. How can he comments like that as captain.

Just look at the scorecards for the two innings of BD for the top order:
Javed Omar lbw Pathan 4 & lbw Pathan 4
Nafis Iqbal lbw Pathan 20 & lbw Kumble 54
Rajin Saleh lbw Pathan 0 & lbw Pathan 0
Habibul Bashar c Tendulkar b Khan 8 & c Khan b Pathan 15
Khaled Mashud c +Karthik b Khan 8 & c +Karthik b Pathan 5
M.I. Rana c +Karthik b Pathan 24 & c +Karthik b Khan 69
Bashar tried to pull short deliveries in both the innings and gave away catch to fielders who were specially stationed there for this very shot from Bashar. Dismissals of other 5 batsmen are self explanatory. First three batsmen were lbw playing across to incoming deliveries whereas the last two edged to the wicketkeeper.
As can be seen, as many as six batsmen got out in identical fashions in both the innings. In case of Omar and Saleh, even the scores were identical in both innings. It shows that these batsmen did not learn from their mistakes of the first innings and repeated them in the second innings as well.
Some of the forummers have already given up hopes for BD against India and they are looking forward to the series against Zimbabwe beginning next month. Zimbabwe is also taking this series very seriously. Zimbabwe have already landed in India, where they are acclimatising/training for the subcontinental conditions that will await them in Bangladesh.
As far as the bowling is concerned, Zimbabwe have some very decent new bowlers in their team. Unless BD batsmen quickly iron out their deficiencies, even Zimbabwe bowlers may be able to capitalise on them. As far as the batting is concerned, Zimbabwe batting appeared thin against big teams like Sri Lanka and England. But their batsmen may have an easier time against Bangladesh.
The BD v Zim series may well be won by the team which makes less mistakes and capitalise more on the chances coming their way. BD cannot afford to make the kind of mistakes they made against India. Against India, it did not alter the final result, but against Zimbabwe, it will be fatal as it may change the final outcome.

I wish our coach, players and selectors have the same stand what you mentioned.
Improvement will never come, if all of them don't have same understanding on problem and solution.
