On a serious note, had Mushy verbally abused the batsman, there would have been a recorded evidence as he was seen standing right beside the wickets which have hidden microphone chip. The footage of this incident only suggests that he was roaring at the batsman, which may happen at the heat of the match temperament. I find his gesture kinda ugly but it is legitimate at the end.

i think mushfiq should be banned for three matches after the WC, i.e the BD vs AUS trisereies.

it could be blessing in disguise.

we can try out a different keeper.

We really don't know what went on.

1. In Belfast.
2. When he dropped the catch.

There had to be something more for him to react like that. Just like most of the time players who react gets the fine (Football) the one instigates smiles. Without knowing I can't make a judgment. However, he needs to be repalced and Jahurul needs to be our wicket keeper.

Come on this is normal! Mush finally found a player near his height to sledge a bit.

I want to fine that Dutch player for staring back at Mushfiq!

Show your arrogance/aggressiveness with shehwag/Dhoni/Smith/Pnting etc teams above, i will accept it better.

But I dont think he should be fined.
Starting with the associate team is not a bad idea. They will show arrogance and aggressiveness against Shehwag, Dhoni, Brian McMillan, Ponting etc too. Just wait and see.

Mushy got a rare chance (against a minnow) and used it. What's the big deal? We deserve our fair share of behaving badly against opponents.

The reaction looks pretty ill-directed considering its against Netherlands. But if it was against South Africa and he just runs or stumps someone out, he can go high-5 them in the face for all I care..I'll be cheering if they win..then shath khun maf..

I dont agree with the idea of giving send-off to batsmen after they're out...unless the batsman had done something stupid earlier, like talking back to sledging. Usually batsman feels pretty crap anyway after getting out..

Mushfiqur should be banned from the whole tournament.

We can replace him with Jahurul
