Posting problem

I had this problem quiet a few times...

I was replying to a thread and when I click submit I am taken to the sign in page (although I WAS signed on), when I sign in again - it gives me an error message saying invalid thread contact administrator. Before, the post used to go through even after getting the message but today it seems to just disappear... (happened to me twice)...

I know I am not clear but hopefully somebody understood cuz it's really annoying that after writing a paragraph reply, you lose your text.

Try putting a check mark next to "Remember me" when logging in initially. If you are logged in most of the time, log out and then log in with the check mark on. Let us know how it goes.

A small tip, always copy messages before submitting or use the notepad - learnt that very hard way

i experienced some posting problem of late, but thanks to reverse_swing and chinaman, its solved now and is all good...

" Server is too busy" message poped up in between 23:50 - 0:00 Japan Standard time. It is +9.00 GMT.

I get the same message once in a while.

Now a days " Server is too busy" doing what? You naughty Server....

WHile I was typing that I get this also it happen again but it doen't do it from home only when i log in from office.....

Sever does run several timed processes at different intervals. If it is slow at times, it is because of that. In most cases it would be few seconds to a min or so. Please do bear with it.

I am assuming people aren't getting busy servers much during the couple of games. Post here if you got server busy message, if possible give how many members were logged at that time aswell.

Regular members cannot delete them, only mods and admins have delete rights.

but,
what's wrong with the dates???
is that a software problem or just in my computer?
all the dates are shown like above !!!
quite confusing.

Not really a posting problem but a posting suggestion to mods:

Is it possible to move the newly archived World Cup Soccer 2006 section to Match Archive forum, as i think u can hv all the archived sections in one place.

I mean we do not visit those past archived section that often and when we do wish to do so for revisiting good ol time's sake, we can find them all merged in one single place.

Well, its just my suggestion. and a fuel for thought for the mods.

The problem is the Archive section is named as "Match Archive". Therefore, only cricket matches should be there. WC sections have many threads those are not matches.
The currect structure to me looks fine. Football belongs to Other Sports. That subsection does not bother me at all.

Fair enough Tigers_Eye, u certainly hv valid points.
Then how about changing the name of "Match Archive" to just "Archives" and having 2 sub sections on it. One for "match archive" and other for "WC 06" archive.

What i want to mean here is that like the "match archive" section, we would rarely visit that forum any more. and the one who wishes to do so, can find them all in one place. well to me, i find it "in my face" everytime i go to "Other Sports" section. WC 06 is a past gone forum and i dont need to see it everytime anymore. and to my best opinion, thats where it should belong, in archives.

Not to create any big fuss about is, but just suggesting some changes.
It wont certainly kill me to hv WC 06 in "Other Sports", but a little change might be better in my honest opinion. After all i believe BC, like any other things, meant to evolve for a better change.
