Hey folks, good news!!! Finally, BCB has decided to use DRS in the upcoming tests against Zimbabwe which is going to start in October 2014.

Congrats BCB for taking a good decision.

BCB was too cheap to use it. In fact current WI series is the first time we ever seem DRS in a bilateral series. Good move from BCB but we won't need it against ZIM at home (in ZIM is a different story). Hope we use it against big sides at home too.

Its time DRS was made mandatory

How a full member could go so long without using it once is mind boggling. This can actually harm teams at World Cups as they wont use DRS effectively

We have been using Kookabura for a while now. My point is since we are going to face kookabura in Aus/NZ why chance to SG (Sunil Gavasker).

I like the move. Firstly, beating Zim should be our ultimate goal atm as we need to get some valuable ranking points. So if SG balls help these losers to finally win something, I'm all for it. Secondly, we are gonna get our a** handed to us in the WC2015 regardless of whether we face khoka bura (old kid) or Jambura.

Good move by BCB. Should have taken much earlier in previous home series.

We almost had a bad decision going against us yesterday, thanks to DRS and Mushy, we got the right decision in our favor.

Default BCB employs DRS for Zimbabwe Tests

Quote:
The BCB will introduce the Decision Review System (DRS) for the first time in a home series, during the upcoming three Tests against Zimbabwe. The system will, however, not be in place for the five-match ODI series.

"We are introducing DRS for the first time in a home series," BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury told ESPNcricinfo. "The BCB is doing it for entirely cricketing reasons."

ESPNcricinfo has learned that the board will be bearing the cost of the DRS, not Gazi TV, the Bangladeshi TV channel that acquired BCB's broadcasting rights in May. Cameras in use will include Hawk Eye, Ultra Motion and Super Zoom, all of which will cost BCB around $100,000.

Nice Job BCB
