Default Your favourite newspaper and why

My favourite is this british junk....

Daily Mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html

Apparently they are supposed to be racist but I dnt see it. Love some of the whacky news some of which you will never see anywhere else. Lot of celeb gossips if you are into it but the best of all, it has a great app for iPad.

Used to read SMH (Sydney Morning Herald) back in the Oz days.

In BD ? None of them are trustworthy, though Daily Star is readable.
PA turned out to be a joke which is pretty sad.

because of its good quality paper and clear pictures. i have no interest in political news or judging its authenticity so it doesn't matter which side it is lying to...

I read Ittefaq, PA and DS in the morning. All need to report more and editorialize, polemicize and pontificate a LOT less. I also read the SF Chronicle, NY Times, Le Monde and the Huffington Post online.

In Bangladesh, the voice and (condescending, derisive) opinion of newspaper Editors - in each and every issue - is too obvious. You'll be hard-pressed to find a newspaper whose Editor will willingly print an article or op-ed that doesn't match his viewpoint.

They allegedly pontificate 'for the people', but what credentials or mandate they have to do this, is beyond me.
