Mash took 6 for 26 against Kenya. A few have fifers: Zia, Aftab, Reza

Also note how Razzak bullies Zimbabwe, he has 3 5fers and 3 4fers against them

Thanks for the link.
I was looking for a Fast bowler who took a 5fer in BD ! Both Zia and Aftab part timer and more importantly they are medium pace bowlers, not a full time Fast bowler. I can see only Mash taking a 5fer but that was in Kenya. So, looks like its Farhad Reza who took first 5fer in an ODI in BD

Surprised bowlers like Reza and Aftab have 5-fers yet Shakib is yet to manage one in ODIs.

Don't know how else to say it, but this was one great performance by Rubel. Felt so good since I've been hoping he could come through since I always thought that if he could put his skills together and bind it with some planning and discipline, he could be the type of bowler that could be a different breed for us. He came though in the last NZ series but this innings proved again why he's still a special pacer for us when he can click.
Gotta throw in some key stats from him. His average is the 2nd best now against the G8 behind only Shakib. Rubel's is 31.42 and Shakib is 31.31. So basically the same. His SR is also 33.9 which is the best amongst are our bowlers. The only other bowler that has a SR in the 30s for us is Shafiul with 37.7. And Mash? His is a 47.7. And in our wins against the G8. He's got the 4th most wickets behind only Mash, Shakib and Razzak. His average is the highest and his SR is a 19 which again is the highest. Meanwhile Mash's SR is a 31.
So as we can see, it's clear Rubel is one of our main strike bowler in ODIs and we can see what he does once he figures it out. He can trouble batsmen with his pace and bounce, something our other pacers are not capable of doing. Sure that aggression leads to an economy rate higher than somebody like Mash but at the same time, the SRs are much higher.
All that being said, many of us can agree that Rubel does need to work on his consistency. Far too many times we've seen him also being expensive but not taking wickets. We now see once again what he's capable and he needs to perform more often. If he can do that, I don't see why he can't go down as one of our best pacers that we've ever produced.

I like seeing a Bd pacer being successful. Rubel's performance was phenomenal! Like Cory of NZ said, rain helped NZ, but then Rubel came and turned the game in its head. Hopefully for WC 2015 it would a polished version of Rubel and Robiul with mash fully fit as well.
By the way, I knew straight away that Mash's presence would have helped him on tuesday, before even reading his interview.
Whatever happened to shafiul?
