Default Top 5 Asian Bowlers in Tests and ODIs?

Who are the best ever Test match and ODI bowlers of all time that have played for the Asian countries? A separate list for each format please, and if you like you can elaborate on your lists, why you did and why you didn't choose certain players.

Test:
Wasim. Waqar. Imran. Murali. Abdul Qadir/Kapil# (Rafique)

ODI:

Wasim. Waqar. Imran. Saqlain. Murali. (Shakib)

# Kapil shades it purely because his lionhearted efforts on dead Indian pitches. He also bagged more wkts but played more than Qadir. Watching Abdul Qadir as a kid was like magic. Best leggie Asia has produced til date.

I agree with you except for Shoaib Akhtar. The only reason he ever bowled good was because of the steroids. But without drugs he is trash. How can anybody still respect this guy anymore. He has contributed alot to Pakistani cricket only through cheating.

Interesting ....

Tests:
1) Wasim
2) Imran
3) Waqar
4) Murali
5) Kumble

- My focus here is on pure, match-winning wicket taking. As the adage goes, bowlers win matches and therefore bowlers such as Kapil who slogged away manfully or tweakers such as Bedi - who were successful mostly at home, or old-timers such as Fazal Muhammad don't make the cut.

ODIs

1) Wasim
2) Kapil
3) Waqar
4) Saqlain
5) Murali

confused about Kumble or Abdul Qadir.
Kumble got over 500wkts while Qadir was more talented and may be better than Kumble

would have imran in the top 5 for tests for sure with wasim, waqar and murali, the 5th spot is a toss up between kumble, qadir, saqlain and bedi imo. it's tougher for one-dayers, kapil would have more of a shout and you might even consider akhtar.

I had trouble choosing Kumble but then came to me the
greatness of Qadir and even Saqlain is better feautured in that context,
as you would find it is not acceptable to choose Indian spinners.
Most of their success stories are homebound while most Pakistani
armers be it a spinner or pacer carry their talents overseas as well.
