after all the surprises of group stages, whatever is expected is happening in knock out.

I still hope Japan surprises us and go the distance from ASia point of view. I think they are capable.

england finally picking up.

I would love to have morocco move on simply because of their fans (made me temporarily deaf for few hours) but that's just wishful thinking and not gonna happen. I think they already got to their upper limit.

Good point, against USA, their counter attack was so clinical. And a lot of ppl who do not follow USMNT arent' aware that this US team is actually a pretty decent team and not a walkover.

But for sake of Lionel Messi, I hope Argentina wins. Watching soccer these days can be boring sometimes because they are so predictable and mechanical. That individual magic is no longer there. It can get boring as a neutral. That's why I can't stand watching European teams. With Messi you still get that magical play of 1 player going past 5 defenders and creating so much space.. And you gotta stand and bow down to this GOAT.

another thing that ppl will probably disagree with me is the over reliance on technology. Now I can't even celebrate a goal until it's confirmed. Takes away the spontaneity of it. Ridiculous offside tech. Nonsensical VAR and penalty calls.

Absolutely agree, var has killed my interest in this world cup. I agree that we need goal line technology for fair play but offsides penalty man this is too much..every damn half have 8 9 mins added time

Japa penalty shootout were atrocious. All that hard work just to give up at the end.
