455 run chase , last day wicket and Stuart McGill giving away over 5 runs an over ( his generosity has continued past the Indians ).
Hard to beleive a team boasting 5 ex or current Australian test players (2 Waughs , Katich , McGill & Nicholson ) could be beaten by a Victorian team with none.
It has been widely suspected here in Australia that New South Wales players have often been favored with national selection more so than players from other states. With the exeption of Glen McGrath and possibly Clarke & Katich I cant see why the Australian team needs to be littered with New South Wales players making up the numbers.
