IDEA CUP 2010: Shahadat Hossain to replace Nazmul Hossain in Bangladesh Squad

Bangladesh paceman Nazmul Hossain has suffered a right quadriceps muscle injury during practice today (Saturday) and is likely to be out of action for two weeks. He has been ruled out of the Idea Cup Tri-Nation competition.

Shahadat Hossain has replaced Nazmul in the Bangladesh Squad.

That's terrible news! Nazmul was so impressive in that last tri series which we almost won! A bowler with good discipline replaced by the most erratic and wayward bowler in international cricket!!

DAMN.This is a horrible news for us,the only in-form bowler of BD alongside masrafe is injured as well.Shahadat is in horrible form and i'm quite sure that he will be hammered by the opponents.Now our weak pace-bowling line-up has turned out to be even weaker.I wonder how many runs shahadat will concede in an over against dilshan or sehwag.I will have to turn my TV off if he indeed faces either of these two.

That is the reality. I posted about SH before that he needed to get some attention from the bowling coach to find his own rhythm but sadly it wasn't to be. Now we will face a tough task....

Shafi miah could be the surprise pack for the visitors this time. I guess Rajib wouldn't get a chance in the final 11 in any game even if BD goes to the Final stage.
