Can't fault Mullah and Tamim too much on their batting as they actually exceeded their ability. The WI batsmen took the game away from us. Its not secret that Tamim is a bad running between the wickets guy. Mushy's misses and captaincy decisions were the main thing to blame for today's loss.
Mushy should have brought Ziaur earlier in bowling when he saw Shafiul getting some dots.
Ziaur should have been sent at #3 following Anamul's explosive start. Even with Riyad there at #3, Tamim and/or Riyad could've considered retiring at the 15th over to allow a fresh Ziaur and/or Mushfiq came and take a shot at winning the match.

who cares about T20 cricket? it was a one off match at the very beginning or end of the real tour.
it was annoying to see them miss all the full tosses...but it was more of a matter of mis-timing them then lack of intent or poor technique.

They need to learn to play cricket first and that is test cricket. T20 will destroy them and shouldnt be our priority at all.

When WI put up a huge score, I was worried that BD might have a collapse as they always do. Especially coz Tamim was out of form all tour. As it happened, I am actually quite satisfied. I take this as a learning curve. The three of them batted quite agressively without getting out. If BD is able to score like this regularly there is nothing more I want. Today a few stumping errors cost us the game.
I am however with all you guys on the fact that there were full-tosses that should have been hit out of the park several times. That is a pity. Especially in a T20 match where you are there to hit it or beat it.
Anyhow, I am not terribly disappointed. I am still ruing the first test though.

did this really require a thread? sh*t happens, get over it. if hitting or not hitting full tosses are our biggest probelm , then i'll be happy. move on man, when was the last time we made 179 in a t20 anyway.

A full toss is a delivery that is asking to be hit no matter which version of cricket (Test/ODI/T20) you are playing. If they can't put away 6 back to back full tosses in T20, than there's something definitely wrong here. When you are getting full tosses are full tosses, at least 1 or 2 of them should directly go the batsman's bat directly into the stand. It's not like you have to worry about finding the gap, you can pretty much pick any spot you want in the stand with those kinds of juice full tosses. Mis-timing a full toss can happen once or twice in an innings not 10 times.
I think a bigger worry for us is Riyad and Tamim's runnings in between the wicket. Had Nasir and Shakib were batting instead of these 2, they would picke up easily 10 extra runs just turning those slow singles to doubles. When you have 9 wickets left in your hand and less than 10 overs left, it's not the end of the world for you to run a risky doube. Specially when the fielder's are throwing the ball from far outfield, the throw would have to be pretty damn accurate and close to the stump in order for the wicket keeper to collect it and break the stumps.

It did to me. So I did. Better than butterfly, moth thread. This problem continues in Test and ODIs as well. So you can disregard the T20 results but can't ODIs or Tests.

That's what it is. Not all have to be dispatched. But at least a few if the entire over is of full-tosses. As well as the fact that it was not a pace bowler all the time that they did not have time to react. When Gale was bowling at least some should have been dispatched. And when you have all the wickets still there, you can take a chance after the first 10 overs in a T20.
That being said, if it was even run for 2s or 3s by placing them in vacant places... I mean you would think they would figure out a spot after the first, or second or third..... or nineth... *sigh*
Ah well, I am not too disappointed with the overall performance. In fact I am pleased with the fact that they were able to do this much. Just a few things to improve on...

10 extra runs! Thats all we needed!
I woke up today morning thinking what we have done last night, still hurtiung me a lot. Can't believe that they could not put away the juicy full tosses, any international batsman shol be able to dispatch those.
Running was poor, veyr poor. They could have scored 15 extra runs, then we would be 3 runs short given that we lost by 18! Oh...all I wanted those 15 runs nothing more.
Afsos......
