Thanks for responding in English at least! The thread 'knee jerk' was a smile at the way we all respond to things without sometimes thinking. Since there is no agenda here, I don't understand what the ill timing is all about.

Knee jerk is what we all do (me included) over things that go well or go badly. As well as take ourselves too seriously.

I was hoping people would post some amusing ideas in this thread but clearly not.

If the mods want to take this post down, please do.

We should have the ability to smile at life, and ourselves. It's a pretty poor world if we cannot at least do that.

salt should be rubbed in after today's performance. change your stance if you can't handle the swing. stand outside crease - neutralize it. Anamul couldn't deal with swing - clear as that. Baki gularey baad dilam.

Looking the responses for this thread...No offence...But i think the game is getting too serious in BD these days...The stadium is totally silent when an opponent player scores a boundary...I have been following BD cricket for ages..But it was not like this say 3-4 yrs..May be its the sign of increase in Victories for BD over the years..Its time lighten up a bit..

Yeah I see a lot of applause when Cook was batting in Kolkata - we should take lesson from that.

So your point is that he should have thought about how sensitive BD fans get over a loss?

Well, Ian - I guess you should have known better. It's a touchy subject, best when left alone!

I agree about Lara part. Well, won't use the word GOD. But he is the best batsmen without a doubt. I was just suprised to see Dwayne Smith being compared to Lara

My point was- this is a crap thread. If you find it humorous, good on you. Some don't, and can't blame them. And BD fans are some of the most sarcastic bunch that I know.

good point... there is always silence from the crowd when an opposition player does well. Even in ashes contests, all fans from both sides applaud good cricket..

Thread was posted well before the loss.... nothing to do with today's match. It could have been posted at any time. Again, taken way way way too seriously, sorry

Haha, it totally was. You don't tease unreasonably sensitive fans this way...not that it's your fault anyway

My point is, anyone who finds this thread a "crap" thread (don't even know what a crap thread really means), then chances are you're not even an outlier among the "most sarcastic" bunch of people.
