As Lord's tes is closer, besides our batters I am afraid of two : Jon Lewis and this Hariharan guy. Probably they will destroy us!

No wonder a few decisions from Hari would go against us since a newly capped test umpire will have immense pressure to impress big shot like England against a minnow.

After all verdict always goes against the vanquisher.

"I did one three-day game between Leicestershire and Derbyshire from (May) 18 to 20. It went off well," Hariharan said.
Only one long version match before umpiring a test match?! Is this so usual in cricket? ICC should have put them in more 3 day or 4 day match for umpiring before a test debut. Although he has 19 one day internationals experience which seems better than only one 3 day match.

Hariharan has umpired plenty of first class matches in India over the last 12 years. The Lancashire-Derby match was his 31st fc match.

I'm worried about this guy. He may not be politically incorrect, but he is blind as a bat!

I remember him giving Youhana run out when he was the 3rd umpire in one of the IND/PK ODI. Everyone saw what it was. Few times he gave it a 6 when it was in fact a 4.

He made many other big mistakes; For example, he thought Inzamam was caught behind when clearly he was not.

God Save us from him!

Generally, umpires from indian sub-continent are not good. But atleast i hope he has eyes which Billy Bowden doesnt have.

It's interesting to see some people would like Hariharan over Billy Bowden. In reality, there is no difference between these two.

The umpire who top this chart of moron, by the way, is Ashoka.

Asoka is the unbeaten champion of worst umpires and no one can beat him.

At least Asoka is not in the ICC Elite panel anymore.

Hariharan can be "harrible" with his jittery calls. I'm worrid about him.

we can buy him some glasses and some binoculars so that he can distinguish the difference between a 4 and a 6. and for LBW decisions i wish i could buy him a video camera where he could rewind it back and see it carefully.
