Default Who would you like as 2nd opener?

There are quite a few similar thread running hot and lots of opinions and debates ongoing. Maybe its time to have a poll and see where we stand.

Mods: Is it possible to merge this poll with this thread? I thought it would be more appropriate if it was possible.

I voted for Tamim. We must go all out blazing. This is not the time ot be conservative and be afraid of a collapse. Take advatage of the powerplay. With mushfiq in the lineup I am all for Tamim no matter how he performs in warm-up matches. If Ash comes to senses then we must take the gamble and play Tamim for sure.

I think matches against Bermuda and Canada gave us a false sense of security about our brittle middle order. I still say they need to be protected from early exposure to pacers. Power play is now twenty overs long, I don't see the need to go gun-ho from the very first over. The best approach for us should be to protect wickets in the first ten overs and then try to hammer the pacers for the rest of the power play.

I vote for Rajin.

Tamim.

However, eventually, after the world cup, I would like to see some experimentation with Saqib in #2 position. If he can handle it, we will be in good shape for a long time with the openers.

tamim is not doing well , So , it has to be Javed Omar against Srilanka atleast . I hope that tamim makes a quick fire 100 against India to keep his spot in the team .

4 votes for JO? what will he bring for us? a respectable defeat? lets go with Tamim...do or die.. nothing to lose. just hope that atleast he will score big against Ind or Srl and make the day for us. against bermuda, we should win even if he scores a duck.

If Javed Omar plays against Bermuda & makes 100+, it's still not good enough . Tamim might be right choice but he needs to make good score against India .

Mushfiq should be rested the match against Bermuda & play Rajin as a wicketkeeper .

Now a days we play to win the matches not to show the fights like before . So , there are no exceptions as usual . Against India it's a Do or Diw match for us caz India would be hell lot easier than Srilanka to beat now .

Among These Choices......................Definitely Rajin Saleh.

Javed Omar has Tremendous Amount of Technical Error. Most of The Bangladeshi Batter has Technical Error but JO is One of the Leading Batter. That's Why He is Also Slow in ODI Level and Cannot Score in Test Level. His Only Strength is His Temperment. But With That Only Strenth It is Not Possible for Him to Score.

Tamim Iqbal Performed Only in Domestic Level. And We Know Our Domestic level is Not That High Standard. I Think he Needs Some More Time. But He Got Chance. Now Dont Fire Him after 5-6 Matches. Allow Him to Play Minimum 10-15 Matches.

NO JO FO SO.

I mean no javed omar for sure.

What I'll do is give Nafees rest (or play him 1 down) against NZ and Scotland. Then open with both Tamim and Rajin. Whoever does better in those two matches opens in world cup.
