Cricket: Made in China by Aminul Islam Bulbul
If there is any opportunity for business, China will be certainly there to take advantage of it. This is why “Made in China” is one of the most widely used phrases in modern world. Cricket is a business now and you cannot keep china out of it any more. “China thinks cricket is the fastest way for them to earn money from sport and this motivates them very much“, says Aminul Islam Bulbul, the ACC Development Officer for China. So I guess the day is not too far when we will start to see something like “Made in China” in world cricket.
Aminul Islam Bulbul is now working to develop cricket in China with the goal of achieving test status by 2020. In 2008, he completed an extensive talent search in China to develop school cricket structure and formed a pool of 290 cricketers. As a part of this process, the Chinese U-19 is currently visiting Bangladesh to train in BKSP.
Here is a video on Aminul Islam Bulbul's journey to develop cricket in China:

i tell u man....these Chinese people are very good in learning by heart and not to say that they are very hard working. In addition, they have got the money, population and modern infrastructure. If they have proper guidance and govt help, in 10-15 years time, they may appear to be one of the best sides in Asia. Just look Hockey. In 80's we used beat China in hockey but now they are one of the best sides in Asia beating india and pakistan on regular basis.
Best of luck Aminul...he will surely be remembered in China for long time for the development of cricket in china.

The only bad thing about this is probably that China would be #1 cricketing nation by 2025 :P
But Its great to see bulbul doing such an amazing job. In aus every senior cricket coach knows about bulbul and his efforts and he is greatly appreciated everywehre.

Aren't the Chinese supposed to be short? If bulbul is about as tall as this Chinese guy's knee, how would be compared against an European?

what the heck was that all about. making a little fun of bulbul's height should no way offense you, unless he is your vai, dulavai, uncle or something of that sort.
and what the heck that has anything to do with playing ludu vs cricket?
come again?

Amazing! The way he was speaking Chinese sounded like he's been there for ages. Well, maybe Chinese is very easy to learn (though I heard they have over 1000 or 10000 words or something but still...)....Surely he's doing his bit to help develop the Chinas. Real nice to see.

Cool, very cool. Shooper cool in fact. His love for the game - something that was also evident when he was a player - is amazing to say the least. He is definitely my new hero.

The average height of Chinese people has gone up over the last couple of decades.

What is your problem with that!!
In the West, retired and famous players go to ' The Hall of Fame'.
But unfortunately some of us, from the East, even can not show a little respect to our old and famous players.
