Every local expert who has seen him play here is sky-high on his potential, but he has yet to consistently meet those prematurely high expectations to date. Luckily he has time on his side and a good head on his strong shoulders. Performance permitting, I'd have picked him in 2015 instead. The guy who really deserves a shot in the shorter formats is Rumman. Temperament-wise he won't get any better playing domestic cricket, the harbinger of bad habits.

He is probably another Farhad reza. Last time I saw him playing for Dhaka in BPL and he didn't look impressive at all. Anyways, If he gets chance best of luck to him.

if tamim is unfit we shouldn't risk him just for one t20 match so regardless of whether it's SS taking his place or someone else (shamsur, anamul) i hope they don't play tamim if he's not fit. would be interesting to see SS play though, it's not like we've been very good in t20 cricket so we really do need to find some players that can play well in this format.
