We were actually on course to beat Kenya in the 2nd match as well when the floodlights failed and they reset our target which caused panic and we collapsed until then the equation was in our favour as we only needed a run a ball and Durjoy was batting confidently. Till this day I don't understand why they had to apply the D&L method for floodlight failure as it was a day nighter anyways!!!

I never blamed any outsider for that game. You remember Durjoy was playing confidently but have you forgot the way he got out with an over ambitious shot and caught in the long off/on (forget the side) region. On that situation that shot was just throwing the wicket (The problem we are continuing till now)

On that time Kenya was better than us. Now in 2010 we are better than them. So we can expect our team to be in the final. Even we can expect Shakib & co. to win in final by making an upset. I don’t think India will fail to be in final.

Tournament ta hobe to? That’s the question now.

Kenya was way better than us back in the days.
Too bad for them, politics was on our side.

The truth is, Kenya was/is blessed with lots of talented players, but they never had the structure to be a test team, their current structure should put their associate status in a bit of a doubt. Recently I read somewhere that there are just around 250-300 people playing cricket in Kenya. And most of them are from Nairobi Gymkhana

^^^First, their country is poor so cricket is not lucrative. Second, Football is much popular then cricket. Third, they are not getting chance in ICC events. No wonder it has losen its popularity. The ICC has to make measures so that cricket is more famous in other countries and that the game develops, rather than just having world cups with 12 or 14 teams only, look at IPL,,......
