ODI vs Test : Order
I think for BD it would be better if we played the ODI fist, then test.
Our batsmen would get the time to do whatever learning and self realization they go through, but find their head cool for the test.

good point...
rana bhai...may be just what the doctor ordered for us...may be we just need that confidence buoyancy we get from playing the more familiar version of the game and which has had happier memories for us.

Playing the ODIs first will badly affect the team's technique going into the tests. The team is struggling to adjust to the higher demands of the longer format as it is.
No, the solution is for the BCB to take it upon themselves to schedule longer tours. The extra time should be added before the first test to fit in more first-class warm-ups.
How can the team expect to win tests without first getting some three- and four-day victories under its belt?!

If you look closely, you will notice, how BD is playing like one day in the test and then in the ODI they seem more calm, play more like test.
That suggests, it takes BD a while to calmdown. Since we are playing test first, players are not mentaly set in like they will be later in the tour. In the begging they are nervous, its a new land, new opponent, also, eager to bat. Not patient yet, as they should be for the test.
I am sure, as we play more and more, we will grow this temperment too, but for now, its costing us.

First class
Wonder if BCB is working on getting our boys 3/4 first class matches (or at least 3/4 dayers against A teams/Kenya) between now and south Africa (which I believe is in September).
Actually, since we are going that way anyways, we can play Kenya in a couple of 3/4 dayers or take up Zimbabwe A for that matter before we land in South Africa. Won't help us much against them but will give our boys more exposure and maybe even a shot at a legitimate draw/win. Of course, kenya will score 400+ in one day against our current bowling but that's ok. We are used to such hammering anyways.

BCB isnt doing anything for the national team. Even A team gets more practice.

If I am not mistake, Bangladesh competed in the West Indies' Busta Cup and before that Pakistan's Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
I think Bangladesh should continue with a tour of England to play all of the counties in the Championship. That would mean 18 matches at 18 different grounds.
It would help Bangladesh adjust to limited duration cricket. If Bangladesh shows improvement then they could do a tour of the Australian states next.
Playing ODIs will not help the Bangladeshi team as much as playing first-class cricket.

Those are good words from Suhail. Your patience and fairness and grasp on reality is refreshing.
Thank you.

BD wont get the privillage from England. The problem is, the A team gets more juice than the national team.

Something FUNNY
"BCB isnt doing anything for the national team. Even A team gets more practice."
A team went to West Indies while national team was playing Pakistan. The A team definitely got more practice and I believe that is what Raj bhai was saying.
Max, I guess you missed my call to get A team tour with India/Pakistan/SL or bhai, do you just see what you want to see.
I was hurt that my suggestions weren't recieved as fondly. *sigh*
