I don't think it will rain so much in BD in end of October. There might be rains at night, that will make the match interesting. SBNS has a good drainage system to not to be disturbed much. Any way End october is not the time for day long rain.
So you can expect a rather interesting match.

Rain rain rain
NZFAN is right...i double checked it....its going to rain cats and dogs for the whole five days...the test should be called off by Day 3. Series going to NZ by default. Shame it happened that way...anyways, if it isnt meant to be, it just isnt going to happen. Sorry Boys, maybe next time against South Africa...till then...congratulate urself on a well played series. Chao.!

The drainage of Mirpur is good enough to ensure 5 days of play. It might get interrupted but a washout is higly unlikely.

but if it rains then how will the pitch play? I think it will be more useful if we play rasel instead of razzaq in this condition. Razzaq won't be that handy as the out field will remain a bit wet and ball will not spin big and also spinners will find if difficult to grip. I know Mirpur has a wonderful drainage system, but still the ball will get a bit wet because of the gloomy weather and razzaq won't be a lethal weapon.

I really hope they can be consistent (for once) and keep up their performance...
and also hoping for an Ashraful century....if Vettori can single handedly win a test for New Zealand, we need out captain to show spirit and lead from the front.

Does anybody know what Ashraful is doing? Feel the air? Enjoy the overcast sunshine!!! Increase his will power? Want to prove his dancing ability? I am not exactly sure.

Character Test?
I think its rather A Carrot (and stick) test. In first test they showed us the carrot and we were not prepared and end up not getting the carrot. Now we are over confident, thinking this test will be also as easy as the last one. But this time the stick is waiting for us, the moment we will jump unprepared for carrot, we will end up getting the beating of the stick.
Zeeeboney shujog baar baar ashe na... we got the opportinity and lost it. I am mentally preparing myself to get a good beating this time.
So my suggestion to the team, in first innings instead of jumping 'unda unda', try to stay as long as you can and score as many as you can.... rr or time is not a factor. If we can have a solid 1st innings score, we can again try for the carrot.

The weather is pretty good till now, a pleasant mild weather. Although there were intermittent rain all day long but If there's no rain early in the morning then play should start at time. And judging by the standard of drainage system Mirpur has got, the rain should not be a big factor.

It is windy and cold. The sky is overcast with heavy clouds. Sometimes it is drizzling.

Rain will be a big factor as it will effect the playing conditions including the behavior of the wicket and the outfield.
