JOs record doesnt make me happy but Rajins does. He has many tests ahead of him and will score so many more runs than what he has at present. Good Luck to him.

We know we have reached an acceptable level in international cricket when our top order bats have an average hovering in the early 30s in both forms of the game.

By the way, Congratulations to Javed Omar on his 1000 test runs. Only if he convert some of his starts into big 50s his average will improve as well.

I see Javed's record as better. Maybe it's the opening batsman in me but he has the hardest job and has scored 119, 85* and 80 as opposed to the 60 of Rajin. Javed has played many tests proving that he is good enough to warrant selection and is the only Bangladeshi opener that's lasted.
