^Ancelotti may consider this 4-4-2 formation when up against teams like Bayern if James and Bale are willing to put in the defensive work (which they can) and then play them on the counter.

The good thing with having such depth in the side is the fact that you can be flexible with the lineup so depending on if we face a good quality side like as you said Bayern we would need to play a lineup like the 4-4-2. As we have seen last season as a counter attacking side we were really good especially with the pace of Bale and Ronaldo down the wings.

Forgot to update the thread but Real Madrid have signed Keylor Navas. Probably was one of the form goalkeepers in the world last season as he had a fantastic season for Levante and also was fantastic for Costa Rica in the World Cup. Now Real Madrid are stuck with who to play from either Casilias, D. Lopez and K. Navas. Alot of noise about Lopez moving to either Chelsea, Monaco, Liverpool or AC Milan.
Another news is that Di Maria might not leave after all... PSG came out saying he is too expensive.

Real Madrid have incredible squad depth. I would love to see Real Madrid Whites take on Real Madrid Blues.

FT: Real Madrid 2 - 0 Sevilla

RM have won the UEFA Super Cup! BBC were instrumental. New signing Toni Kroos had an excellent game. The midfield of Modric/Kroos is going to produce magic throughout the whole season.

what is it about this guy playing so well for his club and looking clueless in wc. Is it on purupose... poor support maybe...

those are two great goals...assisted initially then got the final touch as if he knew before hand how it's gonna play out...

This is an awesome team...

I wanna see a Real madrid vs Bayern Munich vs Barcelona game ... mix and match and repeat till i can't get enough and start vomitting.

A bit late but Diego Lopez has left for AC Milan. Sad that he had to be the scapegoat as Casilias is a RM legend. Lopez played his heart out for the club. Also RM lost to Fiorentina 2-1 in a friendly.

FT: Real Madrid 1 - 1 Atletico Madrid. RM didn't play well at all however Atletico were lucky to get away with 2 handballs in the penalty box. Ronaldo went off injured at half time and James scored his first goal for RM. The club needs to keep Di Maria because our attack is much better when he is on.

Footyroom.com has good highlights. Ill post a link from that website cos i don't use youtube for football highlights. Ill do gifs if it is a good goal. However the 2 goals in that game were **** so its not gif worthy.

FT: Real Madrid 0 - 1 Atletico Madrid. Atl win the Spanish Super Cup. Crap performance by Real but it is mostly influenced by the dirty and aggressive style of football that Atletico play. However there were some really questionable substitutions by Ancelotti. Even his presser was cringeworthy. But not too fussed because apparently in the past three years the loser of the Spanish Cup would go on to win the La Liga. http://footyroom.com/atletico-madrid...adrid-2014-08/

Last week Real Madrid beat Cordoba 2-0 in Real Madrid's first La Liga match. CR7 scored a very nice goal.

Sad news has come that Xabi Alonso has left Real Madrid for Bayern Munich. I'm absolutely gutted. However whispers going around that Falcao has already finalised a deal with Real Madrid.

Now Falcao has said the picture of him tweeting saying that he has signed for RM is PHOTOSHOPPED. He is bullshitting big time because lots of people are claiming they saw him tweet that message from his OWN twitter account. Guess we gotta find out if he has signed for RM during transfer deadline day.
