This test match was full of records. Great show by BD to go hand in hand with SL. Gotta improve on fielding though. If we caught our catches we could've had a good shot at winning this match.

An honourable draw, I must say, in 2007, Sl used to get these boys out for less than 100 runs. Lots of people were saying that BD should not play test cricket. IMO, they have vastly improved to draw the match with SL and go the full 5 days, I guess BCB will have to give them that bonus.
Hope they can do the same in the second test or even win, nothing is impossible

We can't win Tests with a team full of street cricket bowlers. So let's hope we can bat ourselves to a draw again in the second Test.

Although the outcome at Galle has surpassed my expectation, we shouldn't get carried away by those broken records and try to come up with a better performance at SSC. It would presumably be a different type of pitch as the Lankan board would try their best to break the series stalemate at the hand of a lowly ranked side. So, we gotta fire in all cylinders to keep our heads up against the wounded lions.

we made it draw but its more like a win

we got double ton and another near double ton, make more runs than them and take lead. one of our bowler took 3 wkt-- their bowlers didnt get more than 2 wkt

plus we make draw in their own land.

our 6 out 11 from last test didnt play--including our 2 superstars plus enam JR

they missed only mahela, whose last 7 match performances: 25, 61, 8, 38, 4,1, 5
