Shakib Al Hasan on Hello Bangladesh (ATN Bangla)
UK viewers quickly tune into ATN Bangla. Shakib being interviewed by Munni Saha. Includes an interview of his mother as well.

Great interview. Some really good questions from the anchor Munni Saha. Shakib credited Richard McInnes for his hard, no-nonsense coaching when he was with the U-19 team and the HP unit. He believes there is still a lot to achieve for him. In the near future he wants the Bangladesh cricket team to reach a stage where in a match between Bangladesh and Australia no one will be able to confidently say who will win.
What a great boy! I am counting down to when he will be the best cricketer in the World. Go Moyna!

It's finished bro. I missed the first five minutes. However I caught his mother being interviewed and it really shows what a humble family he comes from. She said he was initially into football, Bangladesh's ICC Trophy win got him interested in cricket.
Shakib believes his new found celebrity status will not affect his form. He wants us fans to be a little more patient with the team and players. On captaincy he gives nothing away, says he doesn't think about these stuff and does only what his job is. He gets tons of SMSs, letters, emails but by mistake he says he doesn't care about them but later amends himself by saying he checks them when he has time. His mother is a big influence on him. He misses his hostel days where he used to be naughty. He grins when Munni asks him whether he enjoys all the pretty ladies who are crazy for him but smartly replies he enjoys recognition even from a feriwalla.
