Ishant is a good bowler who keeps getting screwed on flat Indian pitches and new ODI rules. The new ODI rules are making all bowlers helpless during the death overs. There is no balance between bat and ball anymore and ICC has done more damage in this decade to cricket than ever before.

Ishant, like most Indian bowlers, was never groomed properly, he had the potential when he first debuted but sadly the fast bowling culture in India is non existent, was neglected and left without any proper guidance.

He gets a lot of hate but he seems alright in test matches and better than any pacers we have.

It's not luck. He has it - but it does not come out all the time. But getting 6 wickets in an innings is not luck in a test.
